Breathing beads give your nervous system something physical to anchor to during moments of anxiety or overwhelm. You trace your fingers along the beads using the 4-7-8 breathing pattern — inhale for 4, hold for 7, exhale for 8. Inhale through your nose for 4 counts, hold for 7 counts, then exhale slowly through your mouth for 8 counts. Repeat as many times as you need.
